Our imaginative programs help youth discover self-confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, while developing a caring attitude and respect for the environment, their communities, and their world.

Who provides this dynamic program?  It takes a team of dedicated and caring volunteers to make adventures come alive for our youth.

We need parents and other dedicated adults to help offer adventure and education to young people.  If you can commit 12-14 hours per month, are willing to help your community and learn new skills, and successfully complete the volunteer screening process, you can be a leader!

This section explains Scouts Canada's Volunteer Recruitment and Development strategy.   You, as l eaders, are encouraged to become familiar with this document and refer to it regularly whatever your role may be in our Movement.

If we “do our best” to ensure all Scouters are properly recruited, developed, supported, and recognized, the end result will be a Movement prepared to meet the needs of youth today and in the future. This section will provide section Scouters with the support you need to meet the challenge of developing tomorrow's leaders in our society.
