Welcome to 12th St. Albert Scouts

Scout Activities!

The Scout program is designed around a lively variety of activities based on personal and group interests. There are hundreds of activities that Scouts can participate to help them grow in leadership and discipline.

The goal of these activities are to build confidence, leadership, and personal fitness for our scouts. As Scouts plan their activities and progress toward their goals, they experience personal growth.

The Good Turn concept is a major part of the personal growth method of Scouting. Boys grow as they participate in community service projects and do Good Turns for others. Frequent personal conferences with his Scout leader help each Scout to determine his growth toward Scouting's aims.

In addition to personal growth, there are many in and outdoor activities that emphasize fun, safety, and skill development in hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing that encourage environmental responsibility and foster a love of nature. Here are some resources to help you Scouts out for your next challenge.
