Blindfold Orienteering
Equipment: Blindfolds for each player, a large open field
How to Play: Line up the Scouts on an open field with few obstructions. Each Scout then faces an easily identifiable object (tree, goalpost, leader, etc.) that is about fifty to seventy-five metres away. The Scouts predetermine how many paces away they think they are from it, then blindfold themselves while still facing the object. When a Scout is touched by a leader, they start walking in the direction of the object, stopping at their predetermined distance. When all have come to a stop, the leader calls, "Off blindfolds!" and the Scouts then see how close they got to the object.
